More about me

I was born in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, where my love for sports comes from. My father loved to watch every Minnesota sports team, especially the Twins. I fell more in love with football which I played in high school. I love all types of music, my dad showed me bands, like The Moody Blues and Paul McCartney. This drove me to play the guitar in elementary school and form a band with kids around my age. We were called The Faces of Awesome and performed at a few local places. I played the upright bass in middle school, which I loved and played for 5 years. In high school, I met the love of my life who I proposed to recently. We have 7 guinea pigs and 1 hamster, which we love so much we gave them a whole room to themselves in our house. After graduating high school I wanted to go into computer science at UND where I realized that back-end development was hard. Shortly after the first few weeks of college started, I was meeting with my guidance counselor asking her to change my major to Graphic Design. I started working on my BFA in Graphic Design at UND during my second semester there. After a year, I realized that I wanted to pursue a different avenue of graphic design. I contacted Rasmussen University, switching to an AAS in Graphic Design and after transferring credits I started my final year of college. Transferring to Rasmussen was amazing as I worked and attended school full-time. I am now so excited to start my journey in design following graduation. Thank you for reading more about me!
